Biography

Mark Schlosser, Executive Director, Talent and Organization Capability, joined The University of Chicago Medical Center in January 2014.  His team is responsible for Talent Development, Talent Management, Talent Strategy and Change, Culture and Engagement. Prior to joining UChicago Medicine, he held several positions during his 16 years at U.S. Cellular® including Director of Enterprise Project Change Management and Analytics, Director of Learning Development and Human Resource Director.  Mark also held positions as Director, Productivity and Quality Improvement at Mount Sinai Hospital in Chicago, General Manager with ARAMARK Healthcare Food Service and as adjunct faculty at the DeVry Institute of Technology. Mark has undergraduate degrees in Business and Economics from Illinois State University and a Masters of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University-Northwest.

He is published in various professional journals, has presented at national and global conferences, is a founding member of ACMP Global and served as the Professional Development Director on the ACMP Midwest Board of Directors.  He is certified in Landscape Design and Horticulture Management, Interior Decorating and Hogan Personality Assessments. He is also a marketing committee member and dog walker at the Hinsdale Humane Society.
